There is simply nothing better than 90’s alternative rock.
As I mentioned in my previous post related to music (check out my fall 2023 playlist here). I wanted to dedicate part of this blog to sharing music. Anything from what I’ve been recently listening to, my favorite artists, curated playlists, etc. I absolutely love music. I love finding new music and sharing it with people. And that’s what I want to do here! A place where you can hopefully find new songs you’ve never heard of or maybe find a genre of music you’ve never dived into before.
In this post I am sharing my 90’s alt playlist. Possibly my most favorite type of music of all time. (Which many people are surprised by this answer. One being that I think they are just shocked that I even know who these bands are and it makes me laugh).
In my Spotify this playlist is titled “nostalgia.” Growing up I was surrounded by this type of music. 24/7. Simply because it was (and still is) my moms favorite. Now that I’m older this playlist feels so familiar in a comforting way and I grew up to absolutely love and appreciate this type of music. (It’s just too good not to). So shout out to my mom for giving me great music taste <3
The playlist I am about to share holds songs near and dear to my heart. Songs that feel like home and are my favorite to sing out loud to. If you’ve never really explored 90’s alt than you are in for a treat. But if you are familiar with the genre than hopefully there are some songs in here you haven’t heard of or possibly forget existed. The playlist is quite lengthy due to the fact that there were so many good songs during that time. However, all are worth listening to.
