Creating Your Ultimate Vision Board for 2024

Does January 1st ever roll around and you set these goals and expectations for yourself and then a week rolls by and you’ve already forgotten about them? Because same. I decided I wanted to try something different, so I created a vision board going into 2023. Now, sitting here with one month left in the year I cannot believe all the things that came about from the vision board I made.

What Is A Vision Board?

To me a vision board is where you put all of your goals and things you hope to achieve in that year. It’s taking the time to think about those specific goals and writing them down. It then becomes your daily reminder of the things you want to attain. It’s there for you to see even if you aren’t necessarily paying attention to it. These goals of yours don’t have to wait till January 1st. So make your 2024 vision board as soon as possible that way you are already thinking about the things to come in the upcoming year.

An Inside Look at My 2023 Vision Board

I had never made a vision board before 2023. I wasn’t too sure what I was doing when I started making one. But I made it anyway. I thought of all the things I wanted to get better at and the things I wanted to achieve and see for myself. Once I finished my vision board I set it as my home screen on my phone and it has stayed that way all year. I wanted to be able to see it every single day. I wanted that daily reminder.

My 2023 Vision Board!

It’s actually crazy looking at this almost a year later. Because practically everything on the board became my reality. I started running again, I went to my first winery with my two closest friends, I was gifted so many old film cameras, I started journaling and I listened to my heart and started this blog! Along with all the others things that happened as well 🙂 It’s crazy! But also so amazing.

If you are thinking about creating a vision board, this is your sign to do it.

Creating your 2024 Vision Board

When beginning to create your vision board you want to start by thinking about the most important things you want to see for yourself in the upcoming year. Write it all down and get super specific. Then, the fun part begins.

There are two different ways to create your vision board. The first being a physical one and the other being a digital one. This will depend on what you prefer! If you are going to make a physical copy, gather as many magazines as possible and cut out all the things that aline with the list you made (you could also print out pictures). You’ll need some kind of board or thick piece of paper to glue all your picture to. After it’s finished put it in a place where you will see it everyday. Hang it in your room, frame it, etc. If you are making a digital copy (this is what I do) then start by going to Pinterest and create a “2024 Vision Board” folder and save everything you find to that board. Then, go to Canva (it’s free!) and create a collage. You can then save it and put it as your lock screen or whatever will work best for you.

I find vision boards to be super beneficial and helpful because it allows ourselves to take a moment to sit and figure out what our goals are. What we want to see for ourselves. It’s a gentle reminder that we can do it. We CAN achieve those things. They will slowly start to manifest and become your reality.

Create your vision board TODAY! It’s never too early to start thinking about all those goals, self-improvements, hobbies and dreams of yours.

So here’s to 2024 and creating vision boards 🙂
